Chelsea Flower Show Afternoon Tea

​The Egerton House Hotel in Knightsbridge is celebrating the Chelsea Flower Show with a limited-time, floral-inspired afternoon tea. This seasonal offering features delicate treats all served alongside classic finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones. Guests can enhance their experience with a glass of Champagne or a botanical cocktail, making it a perfect complement to a day at the Flower Show.

Doggy afternoon tea

Our doggy afternoon tea includes a pooch-pleasing selection of treats, such as chicken and beef meatloaf, homemade dog biscuits and a carrot cupcake as well as a 'dog-tini', served with our doggy canapés.

Price: £30 per pooch when purchased alongside a traditional afternoon tea or cream tea

We kindly ask for all dogs to be kept on a lead during their visit to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests and your four-legged friends. Dogs are welcome in our Tea Room only on Thursdays and Sundays.

Bespoke portraits

We are delighted to introduce Shelley Levy, also known as ShelleyTheArtist. Indulge in an unforgettable afternoon tea experience as you pose for a captivating portrait. This unique opportunity offers our guests bespoke personal or family portraits, crafting a truly unique memento. By appointment only.

Price: Two people £350, three people £450, four people £550, or two people with traditional Afternoon Tea £520

A Portrait to Arrive to

For those who don’t have the time to sit for a portrait session during their visit, or those who simply cannot wait to see themselves artfully presented alongside their beloved pooch, Julie Patmore will paint you and your pet in advance of your stay with us. A most charming surprise to receive when you arrive through our doors, or perhaps when enjoying a doggy afternoon tea.

Afternoon tea parties

Mark those special moments with an afternoon tea party at The Egerton. Whether celebrating a birthday, baby shower, or any other occasion, private hire is available throughout the day for a room hire fee of £300 for two hours and £100 per hour thereafter. Alternatively, a minimum spend is required to make the booking.
